Taking you “behind-the-scenes” during my sketching class atSpring Studio in Soho, New York City recently.

Spotted a bunch of cool East Village street art on my way to sketching class.

Love the colors of the studio door.

Why do I always feel excited AND nervous before a sketching session? Hahaha! Anyway, as I calm myself down, enjoy the view from my easel.

Pardon the pun, but I always enjoy going back to "skull."

Learned about drawing hands from Minerva Durham, who related art and anatomy by way of examples by some guy named Michelangelo.

Happy to present one of my sketches, charcoal on newsprint. Hey, best to keep trying right?

Practice makes perfect, folks! So get out those pencils and do your morning sketches!
