A future sunbed, an organic fungus transformation, performance lectures, audio walks and mini operas. On June 14 and 15 the festival for sound and performance, ACTS, explores for the third time the urban space around the Museum of Contemporary Art and the music venue Gimle in Roskilde with an ambitious program of experimental performance and sound art by some of the leading contemporary performance and sound artists in Denmark, Scandinavia and internationally.
With the festival ACTS, art moves out of its usual exhibition space and instead utilizes the city, its various possibilities and public spaces as a stage. The festival kicks off with traffic, church bells and construction noise, forming a composition when the audience is guided through the sounds of the city by the artist Andreas Führer (DK).
