The 2013 Interactive Annual is now online! 37 of the best websites,
tablet and mobile apps, interactive installations and social media selected
from over 1,400 submissions.
While websites and microsites still comprised the majority of the
submissions, we were happy to see over 300 mobile and tablet entries
submitted as well. Most interesting was observing how the proliferation of
these devices has impacted overall digital strategy employed by creators for
their clients. 
"I was excited to see many entries address issues of cross-platform design
through the use of responsive design or with multi-format compatible
designs," said juror Sophie Henry. "The industry is still learning to deal
with the shift to touch-based interfaces now that tablets are becoming so
prevalent. This is pushing designers to find new ways to let users input
information and navigate."
