IKT is the International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art. It is a members’ organisation that brings together curators from across the world to meet, share knowledge, exchange ideas and broaden their professional network. IKT was founded in 1973 and its early members included prominent curators such as Eberhard Roters, Eddy de Wilde and Harald Szeemann. Today it counts around 350 active members, working for institutions or independently, who constitute a unique forum of curatorial thinking and practice.
