Communication Arts magazine announces the winners of its 53rd Annual Advertising Annual. 142 projects—this year’s best print, broadcast, digital and integrated media—were selected by a jury of creative professionals from 4,793 entries submitted, making the Advertising Annual the most exclusive major advertising competition in the world.
“You know work is great when everybody in the room wishes they had their name on it. There was a mutual sense of envy many times over,” said juror Linda Honan.
“It’s very apparent that advertising’s creative community is becoming more and more adept at working in the digital realm,” juror Dave Newbold said. “There were some really surprising uses of online and social venues.”
Chosen on the basis of creative excellence and quality of execution, the award-winning projects include consumer magazine ads, consumer newspaper ads, trade/institutional ads, posters, sales promotion, self-promotion, television commercials, radio commercials, digital advertising, public service advertising, integrated campaigns and non-traditional advertising.
