In 2011 Reynolds and Reyner (Kiev, Ukraine) finished two redesigns for international paint brands. Shortly after, the duo was asked to develop a new identity for a small Finnish company planning to enter the US market. Without a past, the phrase, “we must stand out” became the basis for Waldo Trommler Paint’s (WTP) identity and brand. Not just a manufacturer of paints, WTP is an assistant—always ready to help, suggest and defend from hassles and problems. From business cards to packaging, WTP has no corporate colors; every item is a bright and memorable combination of colors and objects that form the brand. The next step is to prove that the product is as high quality as its outer shell.
