The Contemporary Artists’ Books Conference is a dynamic, two-day event focused on emerging practices and debates within art-book culture. This year’s conference will feature keynote addresses by art historian Lucy Lippard and artist-publisher Paul Chan, as well as sessions covering a broad array of subjects, including: appropriation-based artwork, intellectual property, and copyright law; arts-publishing practices in Tokyo, Taipei and Seoul; sound-and-text intermedia publication; and graphical notation.
