Oded Ezer’s design for the New American Haggadah is a fresh visual interpretation of an ancient text. Read each year around the Seder table the Haggadah recounts, through prayer and song, the extraordinary story of Exodus, when Moses led the ancient Israelites out of slavery in Egypt to wander the desert for 40 years before reaching the Promised Land. The concept behind the design was to merge, visually, the history of the Jewish nation with the traditional text of the Haggadah.
