Tradition and passion are the hallmarks of Conservas Billante. Dazzled by the quality of fish from its local shores, the company began production of its high-quality conserved fish in 1870, in Spain’s coastal town of Mutriku. The company’s centuries-old history has taught it to value and defend traditional manufacturing methods, knowledge and craftsmanship; by putting them into practice, it boosts local fishing and the culture of its coast while being respectful of the environment. Tolosa, Spain-based design firm Fammila developed the brand, and packaging, that’s not only appropriate for the 140-year-old tinned-food brand but a timeless image for next the century.
