MACRO – The Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome presents director Bartolomeo Pietromarchi’s new exhibition and activities program making the museum a place for exchange and discussion, and a hub of cultural life in Rome.

MACRO’s two sites, the newly renovated industrial space in via Nizza and the ex-slaughterhouse in Rome’s Testaccio, will focus on three types of activities: MacroExpo, MacroLab and MacroLive. MacroExpo is on exhibition program of solo and group shows; MacroLab is a platform for artists, critics, curators, gallery owners, collectors and the public to interact; and MacroLive will host a program of talks, performance, conference and events.
