The feature on the 17th Colorado International Invitational Poster Exhibition is now up at Commarts. Most of the posters were printed at 1/4 page, so seeing them up close and personal on-screen is a treat, as well as seeing them all together in the Feature Gallery. Bold, graphic design transcends language.
An interesting note that Honor Laureate Leonardo Sonneli points out, and one that I assume more and more creatives are experiencing, is that by judging the posters from Italy, prior to the exhibition, via PDF, the materials and production qualities played a smaller role: “…good printing quality (paper, spot colors, etc.) is hard to understand when viewing a PDF on a screen.“
For much work, the process is very much a part of the project…Food for thought.
