With a collection that consists of more than 4,500 posters, this international environmental poster exhibition takes place every three years in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The exhibition title, The 4th Block, is derived from the reactor (block), number four, that exploded at the Chernobyl nuclear power station in 1986. The exhibition commemorates the day in history by presenting the latest trends in environmentally conscious art and design. The next exhibition is scheduled to open in April 2012 and it will be the first year that the exhibit will have an international presence with satellite showings planned for Moscow (Russia), Minsk (Belarus), San Francisco and other cities around the world.
