CLINTON HILL – Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries (D-Bedford-Stuyvesant) and Danny Simmons, artist and president of Rush and Corridor galleries, were joined earlier this month by award-winning filmmaker Michael Skolnik for a conversation on the issues facing the Brooklyn arts community at Corridor Gallery on Grand Avenue in Clinton Hill.

The Dec. 14 discussion was focused on solutions to pressing public-policy challenges. For decades, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill have been known as a cultural center for Brooklyn’s creative populations.
