NEW YORK — The famed tenor from Sicily, Marcello Giordani, has been a mainstay for 25 years at the Metropolitan Opera since his debut there in 1986 and has sung to worldwide acclaim. The Marcello Giordani Foundation, now in its third year, wishes to help young opera singers via scholarships to pursue the art of Italian opera.
