Journey through the astonishing installations and immersive environments of “Carsten Höller: Experience.” In the scientist-turned-artist’s first New York survey, families are able to study the natural world through Höller’s artworks, in particular, swarms of fish in his Aquarium, 1996, or the dozens of flying canaries in his Singing Canaries Mobile, 2009. After exploring the galleries and the birds, families are invited to join New Museum educators and create ornithological study guides and mobiles.
