Venturi Schulze, one of the oldest vineyards on Vancouver Island has been producing pure products without pesticides, herbicides or compromise in the vineyard since 1988. Winemaker, Marilyn Venturi, had long relied on strong word of mouth and a dedicated local following to sell their fine wines. Hired Guns Creative worked with her on this rebranding effort to help introduce the Venturi Schulze brand to a broader audience.
The creative team was quickly inspired by the commitment to old-world cultivation methods and breathtaking landscapes and the level of craftsmanship and care that went into wines. While discussing the direction and message they wanted to convey, words like “timelessness” and “exclusivity” were mentioned frequently. The result of the collaboration is a remarkable logo combining eye-catching simplicity with an earthy, organic wildness. The stunning logo, inspired by the qualities that make Venturi Schulze unique, has been applied to collateral materials, packaging and the company Web site.
