Tacitly or directly, most modern choreographers owe a debt to the groundbreaking work that occurred in the mid-twentieth century. Re-performances of two iconic works — Trisha Brown’s Roof Piece and Meredith Monk’s Education of the Girlchild Revisted — were performed during the weekend of June 10-12, and discussed here in a recent week.
