We launched the Design Annual on Commarts earlier this week. As I mentioned last month, I was really impressed with the Environmental Graphics category. And the Packaging and Posters always stop me in my tracks, but while thumbing through the annual (yes we’ve a few copies here), I realized that the Integrated Branding Programs category served up five stellar projects—and left me wanting for more, to see more. And this sentiment was echoed by a few judges:
Yolanda Santosa: “I
wished there had been more integrated brand entries.”
Allyson Lack: “I thought there would be a great number of amazing integrated brands to review, and while the entries selected were outstanding, I felt like I wanted to see more in the judging process.“
Earl Gee: “The integrated branding programs showed great innovation and a high degree of refinement. Every component provided a unique representation of the brand, furthering the strategy across a wide range of media. The most memorable programs had something unique to say about their clients. A particular program for a high-end spirit used some brilliant thinking to craft a campaign in a variety of media that was totally in tune with its young and mobile audience.”
OK designers, take note.
