This month, the Brooklyn Waterfront
Artists Coalition (BWAC) will host a special section of their fall show, “Tales of Breukelen,” commemorating the 10-year anniversary of 9/11. The exhibition will feature medium-format photos of the World Trade Center, taken by Richard Massie, of Kensington, during a period spanning from
the mid ’70s to mid ’80s.
Massie photographed the towers inside and out, starting from when they were still under construction. He sought to capture a certain beauty in the then-controversial towers.
