This week in Brooklyn, dance lovers and families have the rare opportunity to see one of the world’s most notable ballet companies in selections from some of ballet’s most famous works.

Ballet Nacional de Cuba, under the leadership of legendary prima ballerina assoluta (a title given to only the most exceptional soloists) and General Director Alicia Alonso, presents La Magia de la Danza, part of BAM’s 2011 spring season.
