At last Wednesday’s public performance on the DUMBO Archway’s pop-up Sing for Hope piano, both the instrument and the musician were outfitted in a crochet suit.

Prize-winning pianist Elaine Kwon (who lives on the Upper West Side but “loves” Brooklyn), gave a mid-morning performace under the Archway in head-to-toe crochet on the hard-to-miss piano designed by Olek, the South Slope-based Polish crochet artist.
