Famous for his large photographic compositions in light boxes, Canadian artist Jeff Wall (°1946) will present this summer a fascinating exhibition displaying his photographs along with those of historical and other contemporary artists. Since the end of the 1970’s, Jeff Wall has been striving to give photography a privileged position within the fine arts, drawing regularly his inspiration from paintings in order to give his compositions an iconographic dimension.
