Our Interactive Annual launched this week, and one thing that struck me about the winning projects is that brand sites are relying on us to create content more than ever. They provide the framework, and we willingly do the work, spreading the word.
“Cloud computing is the backbone for information. Social networks are the support for the propagation of ideas,” said juror Veronique Brossier.
While according to juror Adrian Belina, “This year has definitely been the year of Facebook.” He goes on to caution, “Facebook is great for contest, tools and most importantly conversations, but I don’t think it should ever replace the brand site.”
This year’s winners embody interactivity in the most elemental way, through touch and projection, user-generated content and social networking, mobility and accessibility. Be sure to check them out.
