The Heights Players have taken on the Big One and have met the challenge. In a fast-paced, three-hour production that never flags, they have provided Shakespeare’s Hamlet, the world’s most famous play, with the all-around strength of characterization needed to keep it from being simply a one-man star vehicle. The Heights Players’ intimate space also brings the drama closer to home than what tends to be true of proscenium-stage productions.
