We’re incredibly excited for Verge Art Brooklyn to be held March 3-6. It’s Brooklyn’s very first art fair, right here in DUMBO. BAP will be exhibiting at 81 Front Street on the ground floor at booth #3, so please stop in and see the spectacular work from curated from our international artist member base.
Verge Art Brooklyn locations will be spread out across DUMBO (see map below) and is nicely timed to coincide with the Armory Show in Manhattan. One of the main goals of the show is to promote Brooklyn “as a cultural hub that will attract artists and collectors from around the world”, according to the New York Times – and of course we at BAP couldn’t agree more.

From JFK Airport (JFK)
Driving Directions: Take Van Wyck Expressway to I-678 N. Take exit 12B for I-495 W/L I Expy toward Midtown Tun. Merge onto I-495 W. Take exit 17W toward I-278 W/Bklyn – Qns Expy. Merge onto Queens Midtown Expressway Lwr Deck. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for 48 St/I-278 E. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for I-278 W/Brooklyn and merge onto I-278 W. Take exit 28 for Cadman Plaza W toward Brooklyn Bridge. Turn right at Cadman Plaza W/Old Fulton St. Take the 1st right toward Front St. Turn right at Front St.
From Newark Airport in New Jersey (EWR)
Driving Directions: Head north toward Express Rd. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for US-1 N/US-9 N/US-22/NJ-21. Continue toward US-9 Truck N. Slight left at US-9 Truck N. Take the exit on the left onto US-1 N. Continue onto NJ-139 E. Merge onto I-78 E. Take exit 3-4 on the left toward Downtown/Brooklyn. Slight left at Laight St. Laight St turns slightly right and becomes Canal St. Turn right at Lafayette St. Continue onto Centre St. Turn left to merge onto Brooklyn Bridge. Take the exit toward Bklyn-Qns Expy. Merge onto Cadman Plaza W/Old Fulton St. Turn right at Prospect St. Take the 1st left onto Washington St. Take the 1st right onto Front St.

PLEASE NOTE: According to the MTA, the F train only skips York St. on Manhattan – bound trains over the weekend. For the weekend, the F train (Manhattan bound) is rerouted to run on the A line from Jay St./MetroTech to West 4th. Those coming to the fair from farther into Brooklyn should take the F train past Jay St one stop to High Street (A/C line) and walk (see directions below). Also, people can bypass using the F in a number of ways (see below)
