In 1996, Atlantic Theater School students were the first to mount Carnival Round the Central Figure, a play by Brooklynite Diana Amsterdam. It was hailed as riveting and sensually stimulating, in its exploration of what happens around a person as he or she dies.

Fifteen years later, serendipitous circumstances have aligned so that the production is being revived, featuring five of the original cast members, again directed by Karen Kohlhaas, a founding member of the Atlantic Theater Company. Several of them Art Headlines
