Nationalgalerie im Hamburger Bahnhof
Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin
7 September 2010 – 6 February 2011
The show comprises eight works by Philipp Lachenmann. The works, from the areas of video, film, photography, sculpture and sound, perfectly demonstrate Lachenmann’s exploration of the connections between the moving and static image and the role they have on the workings of collective memory, as well as his structural treatment of cinematic and photographic space.
