One of the largest of its kind in Canada and one of Calgary’s top destination events of the year, the ten-day, multi-genre Calgary International Film Festival is attended by upwards of 50,000 people at venues across the city. Festival promoters wanted to let audiences know about the high quality of movies being showcased at this year’s event; local agency, WAX Partnership, came up with a campaign featuring the directors whose films didn’t quite make the cut.
