The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas held a reception at the Lou Ruvo Brain Institute in Las Vegas on October 14, 2010 to celebrate artists Shepard Fairey, RETNA, Kenny Scharf and Shinique Smith, their unique contributions, and the unveiling of WALLWORKS.

WALLWORKS is four site-specific artist murals, which are located in The Cosmopolitan’s parking garage on levels B2 through B5. The commissioned murals are by four major figures in contemporary art: Shepard Fairey, RETNA, Kenny Scharf and Shinique Smith.

The New York-based nonprofit Art Production Fund and The Cosmopolitan have partnered to bring art and artists to The Cosmopolitan so visitors and guests can experience different types of artwork in new, unique and unexpected ways.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas opens December 15, 2010.
